Re: Facing Operation makes not necessary pathes

Hi Markus,
You can probably achieve what you want with a "Pocket Face" op for the top boundary
yes, that works.

But "Pocket Face" works also on a face without holes and islands....

For that "Facing Operation" seams to be a little needless for me...

Re: Facing Operation makes not necessary pathes

Hi Chris;
i make the pocket(s) first, then the finish. Why spending time (for making a finish) on material which will be removed later....
What did you select, the outer face?
yes, made the poket first, then select the outer face.
I can reproduce it with each face with a pocket.

Missing Plunge Angle

Hi again,
some time in the past Plunge Angle works (at least at pocket Operation). Aktuell it doesn't work and on some Operation preferences i'm missing the posibility to select/set an plunge angle.

To set a plunge angle is an important thing to save tool live time, why you take it off?

Facing Operation makes not necessary pathes

Hi,
if you make a "Facing Operation" on a part with one ore more pockets, Facing Operation creates some pathes which are not necessary.

It's not a big problem, only if you have a part with big pocket sizes you lose a lot of machine time.

Re: Object Will Not Generate Proper PATH

Hi bill, because i have had a problem, which returns a path like yours, the past, i try'd to reproduce it with your file. But here it works fine, no matter which operation i use. Profile on faces: bill1.jpg Profile on edges: bill2.jpg Contour from base object: bill3.jpg On the cases i have had this,...

Re: Flyby of icons aligned to Tango

Yep, a heatmap with e few lines... i think it will be a good suggestion for the meshPART WB

Edit: Not to much color, - colors you get only after solving the "meshd" part in a FEM simulation... ;)

Re: Flyby of icons aligned to Tango

Hi agryson, If anyone has a description of what it is supposed to represent it'd be really helpful! I'll try to explane...; On a finite-elemente-simulation (FEM) you have to set (better: a "mesh generator does it :D ) inside a solid (or a volume) a lot of points which are usually connected in t...

sorry, with this icon i have no suggestion to a mesh..., :? :?

If the images in the same order as the list, then some Icons canging to an other WB, that may be will be confusing.
