Re: Globally turn off thread modelling
I've uploaded it to github as I suspect there will be fixes required Well, I've seen a lot worse first attempts than that, good effort. Only glaringly obvious thing I'd look at is the layout particularly around the buttons, you just need to test different stylesheets when you're building dialog box...

Re: CNC Tool Library and Toolbit - impossible to use
My constructive feedback is that for a completely new user, there should only be one question 'You appear to have never used the Path Wb before as there is no Tool Library available, do you want the system to create one now as you will not be able to create tool paths without it? Yes/No In AddonMana...

Re: Is there likely to be a 0.21.3 release?
Thanks Roy_043 certainly helps if I get ahead of schedule, highly unlikely but you never know. chennes I'm leaning on the side of leaving the 0.21 AddonManager as is, it works just the Readme's are missing the additional info. Do you agree or is there something in particular you want adding to the l...

Re: Licensing your macros
But are you not suggesting a less protective license and as it's someone who might have absolutely no other recognition within the core code that has possibly spent days/weeks on a macro?TheMarkster wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 5:53 pm Wouldn't FreeCAD's license be more appropriate for a default?

2) At the bottom right hand side as per screen shot (mine's set to TouchPad) you just click and change to whatever suits, it's CAD by default.

Re: Cannot import numpy in Windows build
NB GlitterBomb As part of some completely different testing, I had to install a fresh copy of 0.21.2 on my Win 7 partition and as a new user I got some very bizarre error about NumPy. So this is the procedure I followed, with FreeCAD closed down, opened File Explorer at the bin folder of the instal...

Re: ImageGUI DLL load failed.
mengrie with FreeCAD closed down, you are best manually deleting the Image folder (and all it's contents) under the Mod folder of your FreeCAD installation so for example the default is: C:\Program Files\FreeCAD 0.21\Mod The documentation for the new way of importing Images for planes is found at h...

Re: ImageGUI DLL load failed.
IIRC the installer offers uninstalling previous version before installing a new one Sorry, I've have to correct you on this, it doesn't ask the question of uninstalling, I installed for All Users and it just extracted over the top. The registry 'knew' I had a version of 0.20.2 and 0.19.4 and never ...
