Re: Are you looking for help regarding FreeCAD python scripting?

The entire YouTube channel, MangoJelly Solutions, seems to be recent and is made up of other very useful freecad tips and tricks. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWuy...

Re: editing a solid

If this is just a simple in-exact operation that you want to do....just do it in Tinkercad. It is an online application offered free by Autocad. It is extremely good at editing uploaded stl files. Upload your stl file, then create a subtractive sphere. Position this sphere and then Group the two ite...

Re: part offset and part length somehow ain't as setup.....

You have errors in your pad. See the red exclamation points icons to the left of your pad in the drawing tree? Those shouldn’t be there. If you share the file, we can take look.also, v0.18 is now old, please try this on v0.19xxxxx available in the dev area.

Re: Cannot Mirror in Part Design WB

This is indeed how it should be done. Let me add that the sequence of adding features is important: If you add the AdditivePipe after the Pocket, then the pocket will be ignored. Switch it, so that the AdditivePipe comes first and the Pocket second, then the mirror will have the pocket too. WOW! Th...

Re: Cannot Mirror in Part Design WB

Thank you but I am mirroring it on the YZ_Plane, so technically the mirrored part still connects to the original solid. Also I tried mirroring it around the XY_Pla...
