Is this a possible target for a bounty (once the details are nailed down)?

Sketcher: "Name (optional)" field accepts any character

Screenshot from 2021-01-13 17-56-03.png This behavior did bite me because I was using "outer-diameter" as a name. I cannot reference that name later on because I guess "-" is interpreted as minus sign: <<mysketch>>.Constraints.outer - diameter Perhaps this field could raise an e...

Re: Sketcher MirrorSketch "loses" constraints!?

Thanks a lot for your clarifications, which makes the behavior more clear to me. BTW, same (or similar?) behavior can be observed for https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Sketcher_Symmetry I would like to update the Wiki entries so that users have a better feel for what to expect of both commands. How about ...

Sketcher MirrorSketch "loses" constraints!?

https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Sketcher_MirrorSketch When I mirror a fully-constrained sketch, I am losing constraints (of various types), hence the resulting sketch is under-constainted. Is this a bug or to be expected? (If needed, I can provide an example. I am hoping for quick feedback first if this...

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Without the DatumPoint I did not have the Placement property to work with. The Additive box itself does not have it!?

Re: PartDesign Next - additive box to center

Reviving an old thread after some years: I managed to center a Additive box by attaching a Datum point (placed at the origin) to the box with Translate origin as the attachment mode. I hope the screenshot is sufficiently descriptive. I was wondering, any thoughts/comment if this is a good strategy? ...

Feature enhangement: Placement dialog does not show formulas

I noticed that the Placement dialog (Edit -> Std_Placement) does not show formulas (but only the resulting values of these formulas). If the values are changes then the formulas are (silently) overwritten. I guess, it would be nice if the user had feedback in the dialog about existing formulas and i...
