PAS_Drafter wrote: Wed Aug 17, 2022 6:28 pm So does the Add-On manager only check for updates after a restart?
I don't think so, but there were issues with AddonManager. I have removed and reinstalled my addons, and now it works as expected.

theleetbeagle wrote: Wed Aug 17, 2022 5:46 pm Is there a way to do this?
The source code is freely available. As a pure guess I would say that some effort was invested to turn the text.

Re: Fastener WB gives 'Type must be "Shape", not NoneType' error when importing nut

Here a recompute does the trick out of the box. So an update should indeed do the trick. 0.3.51 is my version: OS: macOS 10.16 Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.21.29997 (Git) Build type: Release Branch: master Hash: b52967d52ac46eff7c59e74d991f3f5b298944ef Python 3.10.5, Qt 5.15.4, Coin 4.0.0...

Re: Getting Started

Hi. Can anyone point me to a easy to understand tutorial for a complete CAD novice. Thanks and best wishes. I would recommend the PartDesign Tutorials , but that depends heavily on what you want to model. The range goes from architecture to models for machining, from airplane wings to spoons. As th...

Re: Can you make diameter constraint labels horizontal?

I like it the way it is. It makes it easy to distinguish arc and circle dimensions from others.

Re: Topological Naming, My Take

adrianinsaval wrote: Wed Aug 17, 2022 2:45 pm The wiki page is a place for documenting FreeCAD not a blog, I do not like this page. It's content is better suited to a dedicated forum post where you can share all your ideas. Your "solution" is very limited so IMO the wording is very misleading.
+1
I have split the topic.

Re: Freecad Learning Curve?

What other views exist on this matter? You would definitely be right, if FreeCAD was a program that was self explaining. That's what is sometimes expected nowadays, because an app on a mobile pone is like that. Alas not only FreeCAD, but 3D modeling in general needs to be learned. 3D modeling is in...

I looked directly at the BRep files.
