Re: subtraction incompletely
I also realized the object created sweeping was incorrect for large cross-section, so I reduced the length of the rectangle until the sweeping becomes normal. Then I subtracted the remaining part bit by bit. But why does sweeping not just translate the cross-section along the path, but rather involv...

The following two figures are before and after the subtraction, but the problem is that after the subtraction, the subtraction is not completely. Th...

实体求差
大家好,我有两个实体,想求它们的差。一个是通过拉伸生成的,一个是通过扫描生成的。下面两幅图分别是求差前后的图,问题是求差后,并没有把被减对象完全扣除。请问,这是怎么回事?

Re: the cross sections not parallel to the original one in sweep
Dear Shalmeneser, it can indeed be cut off, but how to ensure that the surface of this object is what I want, because it may distort the surface I expected.

Re: sweep along any path
Dear chrisb, Thanks for your help. I formed the sweep path from the points using BSplineCurve. However part design reported the error "TopoDS:Wire" when I did sweep. I'm new to freecad. Could you tell me how to handle with this problem? I also attached the freecad file and the points file.
