Re: FreeCAD 1.0 Logo Poll

When I added it to the composite image for the poll it was crashing Inkscape. I switched to the mono colored one and the crashes stopped. Can I try making a more inkscape friendly version or is it too late now? I made it with Inkscape but I see now it is damaged when trying to copy paste. I put a l...

Re: FreeCAD 1.0 Logo Poll

@obelisk79 Did you have problem opening my multi color version logo or are there other reasons only the single color version is presented?

Re: Change backgroundcolor of TreeView

In 0.22 the "Stylesheet" preference seems to be replaced by a "Theme" preference which lists PreferencePacks and the Stylesheets is ignored?

Re: Change backgroundcolor of TreeView

~/Library/Application Support/FreeCAD/Gui/Stylesheets works for me with FreeCAD 0.21
Check that Macos doesn't hide any extra file suffix which it does automatically if you change the name of the file from for example Custom-style.txt to Custom-style.qss

Re: Merging Fasteners and Gears in Part wb?

I don't think merging gears and fasteners into Part WB is a good idea. The primitives aren't parts by themselves but building blocks to make parts. It would make much more sense that the Part workbench offers parts. Rather than current situation where Part wb is actually a 'Part Design without body'...

Just to be clear. What happens if several submissions are posted as @Teoxx posts above? Is the first post accepted, or the last one, or none?

Re: Simple one: Constrain equal vs named constraint

Hmm...I thought I'd name many reference constraints while modeling. I just tested this and naming reference constraints seems to work just fine. Am I thinking about something else? Probably not. It works for me too. I have had need for this but last I tried it wasn't possible. Might have been a lon...

Re: Simple one: Constrain equal vs named constraint

Equality is most likely easier on the solver, if I remember correctly when you use expressions with internal references the process goes like this: - update the named constraint, solver runs before the constraints that reference this value are updated - expressions that reference the named constrai...
