Re: Closed Geometries: can I color them?
chrisb ok my meaning was not that I have to apply the color by myself with any "coloring function". Just I was looking for a way for which Freecad, when I close a polygon, just colors the area for itself as it is in Fusion or Solid Edge, Solid Works and others. It's just more comfortable ...

Re: Closed Geometries: can I color them?
The color of a fully contained sketch changes. But a fully constrained sketch can still be open. To get a face from a closed contour you can use PartDesign_SubShapeBinder or Part_MakeFace . If I design a circle, the area of it is not colored and I can't find the way to do it. I'm not talking about ...

Re: PieMenu (v2.0)
No wy to make it work ... using TAB it's not occurring anything. I uninstalled it, re-installed etc: no way. Solution: remove it forever. I also faced this problem. Probably, the reason lies in the interface language, which differs from English. To make Pie menu work again, open the menu Tools > Ed...

Closed Geometries: can I color them?
The perimeter of the geometry is colored when it's fully closed. May I color the area of the geometry as well or not?

Re: Is it possible to export a pocket to use in several other projects?
Hi all I think I found a solution somehow that's less cumbersome and puts together all what you here suggested. I prepared sketch I saved in one project file. This Sketch contains the hinge shape with the holes for the screws already I merge that project with the ones of the doors when needed, and I...

Re: Is it possible to export a pocket to use in several other projects?
I know it sounds strange, but I'm designing some furniture. Since here I have a company that CNC cuts wood for furniture on design, using STEP files etc. hence my question. For the inges for any closet-door in the furniture, there is a pocket to implement as feature. Instead of design that pocket N...

Re: Is it possible to export a pocket to use in several other projects?
in the case of a simple recessed hinge it's easy the slot and the screw holes make a single Body (blue) for the hiden hinge it is longer: a container cannot be subtracted, you have to select each body one by one in PartDesign in PartWb we can subtract a container (red cut) You mean I should: design...
