Feature Request: Hide External Geometries.

It seems to me that it would be useful to add the feature to hide external geometries in the Sketcher, to achieve the same effect as with normal and construction geometries.

Re: Feature Request: Customizable Toolbars in Menu Bar

I've already seen the post. I still believe this is a matter of 'Just because you can, doesn't mean you should'. A menu bar is a menu bar, a toolbar area is a toolbar area. Anything else requires a rethinking of how that entire top area of the application is supposed to look like. This is a great e...

Feature Request: Customizable Toolbars in Menu Bar

The workbench selector can now be moved to the menu bar. Placing the selector on the left side in the menu bar, the space between 'Help' and the right edge of the FreeCAD window is quite large. Some time ago, I created macros to switch to the workbenches I use most frequently and created icons to ru...

Feature request: Rename elements in sketches

I think it would be very useful to incorporate the feature of being able to rename the names of elements in sketches, just as it can be done with their constraints. I have read the topic How can I rename an element (line, point, etc) in a sketch?, where pmfani asks for help to achieve what was menti...

Re: Feature request: Multiple Constrain Coincident

Here I present a solution creating a point as a "pivot".
I invite to take a look at the following video:

What would be the difference if the coincidence is imposed among all the points in a set?

Re: Feature request: Multiple Constrain Coincident

This similar to other discussions about stacked coincident constraints. If, for example, you create 2 circles and select the Rootpoint coincident with the center of the first. Then the second circle and select the vertex in the center of the first, the second is coincident with the center vertex of...

Re: Feature request: Multiple Constrain Coincident

What you want is good but your way is bad: For your 4 endpoints you would create 6 coincidences, which would yield the sketch overconstraint. The right way could be to check, if there exists a transitive coincidence before the deletion and then create a new one after. That's already done with (some...

Feature request: Multiple Constrain Coincident (With a proposed workaround)

In the Sketcher, when a set of points is selected and the coincidence constraint is applied to them, constraints are generated between pairs formed by the first point and the rest. If this initial point is deleted, even though the sketch's appearance remains the same, these constraints disappear. In...

Re: Feature request: Hide backup files.

We should distinguish between - autosave files which are created at certain time intervals to recover from a crash. These are written by FreeCAD to a dedicated directory. These are used to help when FreeCAD makes a mistake - backup files, which are written on every user save. These are currently wr...
