Про настройки ничего не скажу, у меня все работает на английском и окно настроек другое (вместо закладок поверху панель слева). Возможно, локализация на русский неполная/устраевшая.

По поводу страницы Start (если еще актуально): она работает на MacOS если включить Software OpenGL на странице Display.
