Re: Creating a model of an existing house

I first have to get a better feel of the Draft workbench. I mainly create 3D models for 3D printing in Part Design. So modelling houses is quite a new world for me.

I found the Arch Tutorial on the website, that looks doable.

Re: Creating a model of an existing house

Thank you, I created a model in Part Design and modified it into a wall. I'm now trying to add doors and windows. Somehow the doors also make a hole in a wall just opposite to the wall I want to make a door in if it gets a bit crowded. Edit: Fix it by setting the 'hole dept' to the correct value.

What would be the best way to create a good model of the house that I could use with the Arch or BIM workbench? If I look at the 'Wall' Command it depends on the center line, w...

I still like A2Plus the most. Looks easy and works fast.
I hope the Dev is doing alright.

Hello, and a happy new year to all! Some time ago i stumbled over a DIY vice video on you tube, this one cached my interest because it was so shiny red. It also was a slick simple design. The original called Fireball Tools DIY vice has some thrust bearings, i did not include these... My model is no...
