Re: First steps: Bearing Workbench

Is this something that can perhaps be merged with the fasteners workbench?

Re: FreeCAD show the start picture and then instantly crashes on Windows 10

The issue may be with the special character ë in your username Raphaël you can either create a new user with only normal characters or maybe try a dev version of FreeCAD (https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bundle/releases/tag/weekly-builds) as I believe this issue has already been fixed. @chennes @...

Re: Correct workflow to avoid TNP issue.

Try to attach sketches and datum planes to origin, and offset in property view to the desired offset.

Your pad sketch is attached to XY plane, so here i created a datum plane attached to XY plane, offset by Pad.Length.

Edit: doctor was faster :)

Re: [Feature reguest] Chamfering with 90 degree angle

You mean like this?
This is not a chamfer, it's a counterbore. Use hole, not pocket, when creating screw holes.

Re: I want to suggest a couple of changes. will there be a response?

1. Externel Geometry. kills all desire to open FreeCAD . Snapping should be by default, and not add elements with one tool, and then bind elements with another, this is a lot of unnecessary work. 2. Constrain distance, radius and angles. Another extra job. We need a universal tool that sets the dim...

Re: Is this stilll correct?: Don't use special characters in your windows user name

Can you tell me whether, after attempting the installation, the directory "C:\Users\HåvardJakobsen\AppData\Roaming\FreeCAD\Mod\Assembly4" exists? I'm trying to figure out whether the problem is in the unzip code or the metadata code. I deleted all AppData folders and this is the result: A...

Re: Is this stilll correct?: Don't use special characters in your windows user name

This issue have been annoying me the last couple of weeks, as the addon manager does not work on W11 with special characters in the username. I tried reinstalling Freecad, using the .7z-version, installing as admin, running as admin, nothing worked. Created a new user wo special characters, and the ...
