I just created a wire in the draft workbench. In this particular case, i alligned the working plane with the top of the 3D body. With the snap funcionality i got the contact to the body. After the creation i simply added the wire to my path job.

Is this the official way of creating a feature request? Or do i have to mention it at another location?

BTW: With the Adaptive Operation, this feature already works as you can see in the picture below. So it would be very nice if the other orperations work the same.

It seems you have created two separate operations. You may try to combine edges from the 3d object and the 2d object in one Operation. I think my file is not working in 0.22

I do not know if i can use it standalone, but in combination with objects of the 3D Body, ist is not possible.
