Re: Is FreeCAD ready for production?

Production of what ? Simple bushings ? Then most likely yes. Military aircraft ? Then not. It really depends on the company's needs. FreeCAD is powerful and definitely the best 100% free CAD software but some of its limitations can be show-stoppers in many areas. IMO fillets are the worst issue sinc...

Yes, I keep this option enabled.

Re: Windows SpaceMouse users needed

Hi, Starting with 0.22.0dev.36874 (Git) version my old "SpaceBall 5000 USB " has stopped working. SpaceMouse in not detected by FC. Thank you. Can you report it on GitHub ? I've a Windows machine I could use, a Spaceball Pro and a Spaceball mouse. Unfortunately I can't compile on that mac...

I use them a lot, especially Cube and Cylinder. They are very useful when testing stuff, e.g. in FEM (also 3rd party) or TechDraw.

Re: Equal constraint can't be applied to mirrored slot arcs right away

chrisb You are right about gifs but I use a very nice free and open-source tool to make them (ScreenToGif if someone else needs it) and I've just found an option to add a progress bar or timer. Should be better now: equal slot arcs 2.gif When it starts, I have the Symmetry tool preselected and only...

Re: Equal constraint can't be applied to mirrored slot arcs right away

The sketch is just a single unconstrained slot mirrored about the X axis with symmetry constraints automatically applied. I also think that it's a bug but I wanted to make sure before reporting on GitHub.

Equal constraint can't be applied to mirrored slot arcs right away

Hi, I've noticed this strange behavior when replying to 13517 - when I apply the Symmetry tool (with Symmetry constraint creation) to a slot, I can't use the Equal constraint on the arcs right away. I have to resize the new one by dragging its endpoint first: equal slot arcs.gif Looks like a bug, ri...

Re: 'Fusion' go out of the allowed scope 'FEMMeshGmsh'

Internally, force loads are converted to *CLOAD card entries. Nothing unusual, other preprocessors may do that as well.

Re: Preserve the geometry by knowing nodes of region

I pinged the author of that workbench but it might be best to submit an issue in its GitHub repository.

Re: Weekly builds are stuck on old-ish code?

No idea but there's a new build now - this time the proper one with a different number and features from merged PRs.
