I am not good at navigating. What works reasonably well for me is doing "0" and "V,F" quite often to "restart" my view.

Thanks for the initiative. This is exactly the issue I have with the current icons. All your suggested icons are a major improvement, I personally prefer the 3-shape versions.

I suppose you are referring to the <math></math> tags and the red texts you see when they are not properly handled. This happens from time to time, but the problem always seems to be temporary.
