Re: [Implemented] Ticket #3923 - change order in tree view

Implemented in c62239d Note for people who are a bit confused (like myself :)): The feature has been reverted and may not be available. I am not able to reorder with Alt-Up/Down with this build: Version: 0.20.26498 (Git) AppImage See also this thread: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&...

edX Solidworks course: there should be a FreeCAD option as well...

I just saw this announcement on the edX learning platform about the SOLIDWORKS CAD Fundamentals course starting Dec 13, 2021: https://www.edx.org/course/solidworks-cad-fundamentals (It seems you have to buy a yearly subscription of 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers: US$99 (excluding taxes).) My spo...

Re: Interesting info re 3D printing, FreeCAD and OpenSCAD

And when I try a Part::Offset I get an error BRepOffsetAPI_MakeOffsetShape Not Done :-( Just to be sure, are you taking about 3D Offset? https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Part_Offset What do you want to accomplish? It seem to me it's hard to arrive at a meaningful result with this transformation because ...

Interesting find! It looks like something that might be feasible, I guess... Would be nice to see it in action at a larger Wiki though.

OK. (I am not prepared to make the bulk changes (now).) Perhaps a good time would be when 0.20 gets released.

Re: PieMenu (v2.0)

If you want the most up to date PieMenu functionality, you may want to consider using realthunder's LinkStage3 branch. He has souped up @triplus's PieMenu addon (which is what you see in this thread) Does anybody know if there are plans to move realthunder's pie menu into FreeCAD proper? (I'm getti...

Re: 'Units' wiki : "Failed to parse (MathML ..."

I suppose you are referring to the <math></math> tags and the red texts you see when they are not properly handled. This happens from time to time, but the problem always seems to be temporary. When I visit the page now everything seems to be fine. Just a guess: The math tags trigger JavaScript. If...
