Re: FreeCAD 1.0 Logo Poll

#39 is somewhat reminiscent of the Autocad logo, that makes it a bad candidate imo, we should vehemently avoid anything which could associate freecad with commercial competitors.

Re: FreeCAD 1.0 Logo Poll

I updated the poll image to reflect the updated version you provided me. I certainly don't want your work to be misrepresented.

When I added it to the composite image for the poll it was crashing Inkscape. I switched to the mono colored one and the crashes stopped.

FreeCAD 1.0 Logo Poll

After all of the great submissions by FreeCAD fans and designers (46 in total), I've put together a poll for the FreeCAD community at-large to select the top 5 entries for passing on to the maintainer team. I will post a final analysis of the data at the completion. Poll will stay open until 01 May ...

Re: Curves workbench

Thanks for the tag.

If possible, I would suggest reusing colors from the sketcher workbench for information overlaid over the 3dview/background. This would ensure consistent coloring and make theme development simpler as it is already a rather complex task.

I failed to install an own stylesheet. I even copied an existing one to a new name and placed it in various positions - in vain. Here is a list of what places do not work:

Re: Is FreeCAD ready for production?

... Ok but this add not too much to the discussion. OCCT limitation are well known and some of them have not been updated as some kernel users are not using them. (keep in mind that OCCT is used by some non OpenSource users that probably are paying a big part of development bills). In context of th...

Re: Would this be a good PC for running FreeCAD on Linux?

I'm not really current with processor and graphics card performance specs anymore. I'm finding that my current PC, running Windows 10, tends to bog down once drawings start to get complicated, one takes 45 minutes to recompute and it's really not a super complicated part. So, I'm thinking it might ...
