Re: Panel arrangement, overlay system? frustration in 0.22

Dude - I'm with ya. Here's a screenshot of what I am dealing with at the moment. The task panel is so big I barely have room to do any real work sketching ! I don't dare try and change it either becuase then it gets worse. I literally lost the task panel in the middle of sketching the other day and ...

Re: Ondsel post on education and survey

Interesting read. I am not an educator, but have grown to (slowly) enjoy using FreeCad and appreciate the open source aspect. Having had the rug pulled out from underneath me by Autodesk once, I swore I would never return, and as I am a hobbyist, Autodesk could care less. They might start to care wh...

Re: PDN hidden gem - Thank You!

I like the archaic use of PDN, I haven't heard it since FC 0.18.  @mlampert : can you modify 'PDN' to 'PartDesign' in the 1st post title please ? I'm a bit thick headed and was wondering what this PDN workbench was as I had never heard of it. Once I realized what it was, I blindly ...

Re: Assembly workflows

I'm far from an expert on assembly features but I have used A2+, a bit of A4, a bit of A3 and Fusion 360. I found that in the Freecad environment I tended to gravitate to the A2+ even though it's a bit clunky and I quickly overload it. I needed a true solver for one model some time back and after ma...

Re: Problem with clipping of numbers in entry windows

ok - sounds good - I guess that is what I have done when I stumbled on the pro dark style. I will probably stick with that until some weekly release causes it to not work in the future !
Thanks again.

Re: Problem with clipping of numbers in entry windows

I've not done anything with the operating system (Windows 10). Is there somewhere I can check and/or alter a setting? Thanks for the feedback. Try without any stylesheets. Gene Just did and it worked to solve the problem. Bit harsh looking from what I was used to but I could live it with it - ha. I...

SOLVED - Problem with clipping of numbers in entry windows

I've just downloaded the 0.21.33656 weekly and noticed that the entry of numbers in many of the windows such as entering a diameter etc. is clipped. Is anyone aware of what setting would correct this ? Thanks. I've attached a screen shot. That's supposed to be the number 2 but could easily be interp...
