Re: Drawing Order --vs-- Order in Group / BuildingPart

I mean, if i need to change the order of object for the purpose of organising the drawing order, it would not be in alphabetical order. So any other thought as how to whilst the sorting order in tree view could be kept in alphabetical order, the drawing order could be controlled by 'other means' ? ...

Re: [ Bug ] Snap icons near cursor are missing

I do not understand why everybody is testing with near snap. It is the one snap option that does not display a snap icon near the cursor! Please retest with only endpoint snap active. It is the blue icon near the cusor that is missing. I still see the blue icon, see the attached image, it's working...

Re: call for screenshots - By Yorik

Hi community, the video shows my fork of the node editor pyqt-node-editor ( https://github.com/j8sr0230/pyqt-node-editor ) as a possible alternative to the well-known PyFlow editor. After some work to integrate pyqt-node-editor into FreeCAD's parametric system in a meaningful way, I am now working ...

Re: Bug or feature? Folder may not be hidden by spacebar

Hello, when the buildingPart "top_floor" is shown, the "topplate_slab" can be shown and hidden with the spacebar (example below). The folder "walls_top_floor", on the other hand, cannot be shown again with the space bar after it has been hidden. This causes confusion a...

Re: Problem with cutting on circular plane?

Re: Problem with cutting on circular plane?

if I cut with a rectangle Bildschirmfoto_2022-07-17_11-04-03.png everything works. not with a circle. I confirm, with a square plane it's ok, with the circle plane, it's not working. As said by mfro, maybe the circle is an object with just one edge, so there is a bug with the function of cut with p...

Re: [Arch] starting point for modeling the first floorplan

Thank you for all that comments and suggestions it will take some time to try that all out and watch the videos. @thomas-neemann I really like your videos, but what about adding some spoken explanations to it or at least some silent music? I played a bit more with it and experienced some other stra...
