Re: LCS not at centre of Sphere

The image in my post comes from the "Parts" file. The "000" file is the Assembly. The error seems to be in the "Parts" file.
The error is more clearly seen in the Assembly.

Re: DAG problem in Part_Design Body

Hmmm. :| Here, at the Far End of the World, we miss out on the news. This is, indeed NEW since Zolko posted to a thread I was working a couple of days ago. Perhaps I might print the post and frame it. One day it might be worth something on Amazon. "Zolko's Last Post!" I trust he will...

Re: DAG problem in Part_Design Body

Thanks for taking the time to have a look. I could not solve the issue while inserting things from Bodies into Assembly . I fixed the problem the other way around to your solution. I recreated the Bodies in the Assembly and did away with the referencing involved in importation. You copied the Spread...

Re: DAG problem in Part_Design Body

This should be the one. You will probably have to cut the date_stamp out of the file name to get it to behave.

(Funny, I thought I had sent it. )

In the end I got round the problem by creating a new set of files actually in the assembly. No exceptions then.

Re: DAG problem in Part_Design Body

So, ... there TWO of us confounded. ;) Whatever the cause, the effect was to raise an Exception when a Part or Body is being loaded into an Assembly. Ghastly experience tells me that ignored exceptions cause untraceable problems further down the track. In short, they are not a good idea. Can anyone ...

Re: Using Points for Part Location in Assembly4

Please see caption on image walker3: I did. I couldn't make any sense of it. (See below.) . The next step is to assemble the first link from the drive link to the triangle. Before we can do this though we need to import two reference points, one on the drive link body (Point1) and the other on the ...
