Re: When will 0.19 be available for Mac?
Where are you trying to download it from? Because on the download page current stable version is 0.19.1. MacOS link points to file FreeCAD_0.19-24276-macOS-x86_64-conda.dmg. Weekly build link also works fine.

Re: Cannot extrude a sketch: "Cannot use selected object. Selected object must belong to the active body"
Hello and welcome to the forum. Sketches should be inside the body. You can move them by simply dragging and dropping them on top of the body in the tree-view. Also, it is not necessary to create a part. Parts are used to organize and place bodies. If you are creating a single body in your document,...

Re: Reporting Crashes
Does not look like it. I've tried LoggingFile as described in the wiki, but it didn't work, either because I used it wrong or .cfg just does not know this parameter.CrashedAgain wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 8:06 pm Is there a way to edit the .cfg file to make it generate a log file every time it is started?

Re: Reporting Crashes
What would I be looking for? I can find the .cfg files (Linux system) but there doesn't seem to be any log files of crashes or anything. As well as crashes, Freecad frequently refuses to shut down and has to be killed using "force quit". This is very common - as much as 40 or 50% of the t...

Re: Reporting Crashes
Try running FreeCAD from the command line. If it crashes, then information about it should be printed to the terminal.

Re: simplifying sketch
well, fc has this capability... Sketcher_BSplineDecreaseKnotMultiplicity a knot is a point on the "white line" (so the resulting b-spline) excluding endpoints (if present), Well, I stand corrected. But unfortunately this tool can only remove one knot at a time and you have to manually sel...

Re: simplifying sketch
Hello. I don't think FreeCAD has this feature but I could recommend you to try Inkscape instead. If you select the sketch and press export in File menu you can export selected sketch as SVG. Open this file in Inkscape. To simplify the path open Path menu and choose Simplify, or use shortcut Ctrl + L...

Re: is there any method to create variables?
Do you mean you want to set an alias to a cell of a spreadsheet? Alias can be used to give a custom name. Then you can use this name when setting parameters in your model.

Re: Crash on changing fillet radius
It seems that the problem appears when mkFillet.Build(); is executed from https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/blob/5807c3841642b0825e6f07cd2aaebc8d11c1302b/src/Mod/PartDesign/App/FeatureFillet.cpp#L100 The whole thing is inside try..catch statement, but I guess the exception is not OpenCascade's Stan...
