Thanks, that gives more information.
Is there any structure in the online Assembly4 documentation through which I should have been able to find this by myself? So far I've only been able to find stuff through random on-line searches or asking on this forum.

Where can I find out about Assembly4's attachment modes?
I've tried following the Assembly4 video tutorial at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n04M6nFvdxs but can't decide what attachment modes to use because I don't know what the options on the list of modes have to offer. See screenshot below. I've read about the Assembly 4 workbench https://forum.freeca...

Re: Techdraw workbench too cluttered and missing hole centres
Playing around found that right click offers “Toggle Frames”, which is much more convenient. Also found that, with frames not visible, it’s only the views that can’t be moved so that, by roughly positioning the views first, most of the work to be done without the cluttering labels. Then the final fi...

Re: Techdraw workbench too cluttered and missing hole centres
Many thanks for these replies which sorted out all of the problems I was asking about. One question arises. In addition to making the annotation and view lables not visible, Techdraw|Turn view frames on/off also removes the outlines that enable things to dragged around the drawing. Is there a way of...

Techdraw workbench too cluttered and missing hole centres
Hi I've not posted this on the Techdraw section of the forum because the summary of what that section is about indicates it's only for discussion of techdraw workbench development Migrating from version 0.17 to version 0.19.4 I've encountered a number of issues. Several of them have been sorted out ...

Re: New 0.19.1 installation hangs
I've followed up all of adrianinsaval's suggestions without success as follows: 1) I can't see the attachment to my initial post nor how I could open it so it's possible, with my lack of familiarity with submitting posts, that the attachment didn't make it onto the forum. Were others able to see and...

New 0.19.1 installation hangs
Hi I downloaded and installed Freecad 0.19.1 on my laptop today because Freecad 0.17 is annoyingly slow on the more complex parts. The message shown in the attachment comes up when the newly installed software is opened. Then, when OK is clicked: 1) the screen briefly goes black 2) the empty Freecad...

Techdraw just stopped working
Hi Techdraw has just stopped working. I started using Freecad 0.17 when it was initially formally released because Techdraw enables workshop drawings to be prepared. I've not migrated to 0.18 because 0.17 is working well enough and I have found several problems with 0.18, not least of which is that ...
